Daily Usage Guide

This guide is for warehouse workers and managers using the Varasto dashboard.

Logging In

1. Navigate to the main dashboard at http://localhost:5173.
2. Enter your Username and Password.
3. Note: If your company provided a License Code, ensure you have your specific credentials.

Dashboard Overview

Once logged in, you will see the Command Deck, which gives you a quick overview of: - Total Products in stock. - Low stock alerts. - Recent movements.

Managing Inventory

1. Product Models

Models are the "blueprints" of your items (e.g., "Drill Driver X200"). - Go to Product Models. - Click Create to add a new type of item to the catalog. - Add details like Name, Description, and Category.

2. Physical Products

These are the actual items on your shelf. - Go to Stock or Physical Products. - Click Add Item. - Select the Product Model. - Enter the Serial Number and select a Location. - Status defaults to "In Stock".

3. Move Items

To render items or move them between locations: - Go to Movements. - Create a new movement record (e.g., "Stock Out" to a job site, or "Transfer" to another shelf).

Locations

Manage where items are stored. - Go to Locations. - Define warehouses, rooms, or specific shelves.
